I Love Whiteboards…
I can’t get enough whiteboards. At home, I have several, one covering most of one of the walls of my office, the others much smaller and scattered throughout the house and the garage. And at work, I have two small whiteboards on the walls of my cubicle, both of which usually are covered in various multi-colored squiggles, decipherable only to me and perhaps an expert in forensic handwriting.
Whenever I need to discuss something in the office, I scour the meeting room or cubicle, looking for my oft-used writing medium. Without it, I am lost, scribbling my finger in the air or on the wall where the whiteboard should be, unable to succinctly record my thoughts and communicate the graphical ideas in my head.
It’s torture for a web development manager. How am I supposed to demonstrate proper methods of coding, solve complex algorithms, records lists of to-dos, chart out the latest requirements and bottlenecks without my trusty whiteboard and inevitably scratchy, dried-out dry-erase pens?
I am in love with my whiteboards!
