First, there was Survivor. Then came Big Brother, the Mole, and the Amazing Race. The reality TV phenomenon continued with Fear Factor, Murder in Small Town X, and Temptation Island. In what is becoming a saturated genre, do we really need the Anna Nicole Smith Show?
A weekly half-hour show, debuting sometime this summer, will chronicle the daily events of Smith and her teenage son Daniel, who both live in Los Angeles, California. Mark Sonnenberg, executive VP of entertainment at E! Networks, says that “five minutes of life through the eyes of Anna Nicole is more fascinating than an entire lifetime for some people.”
I don’t think that it’s life through Anna’s eyes that arouses the public’s interest in her. And, judging by the average viewing public, especially among those who regularly watch Fox TV, it is more likely that even Anna’s büstenhalter sees a more exciting time in five minutes than some of them do in a lifetime. Anna Nicole Smith, whose real name is Vickie Lynn Hogan, was born on November 28, 1967. Her 36DD’s were born sometime later.
Even they aren’t enough to make me watch. Enough is enough…

I agree: RIP. I still have no desire to watch her on “reality TV”, but it’s unfortunate that she had to go so young.
But not, all things considered, that suprising.
