The Jerry Springer Show…
My wife, Kim, got an email from a friend of hers, detailing some website with a MadLib-like game. You know, fill in a bunch of adjectives, names, nouns, verbs, etc. and you get a funny story.
Well, it started out innocently enough:
“Tonight on “The Jerry Springer Show” we have a particularly interesting episode! Kim is here to finally confess something to a long-time friend, Yvonne. So everyone, please put your hands together for Kim!”
Not a good sign, though. With a mention of Jerry Springer I knew it was going to get interesting. After lots of audience screaming, surprise revelations, and mystery guests, Jerry summed it up nicely towards the end:
“Okay, okay. So let me get this all straight … Kim is married to Brent who Yvonne has secretly been in love with for years and years. Now Yvonne has recently become engaged to Brenden who was recently spotted kissing Kim in Target. Now on top of this, Monica has just admitted to being in a sexual relationship with Yvonne.”
Where was I during all this? And how come Brent gets all the fun? Actually, it doesn’t look like he’s getting any fun at all either, considering all the action the girls are getting!
Haven’t I had bizarre, waking-up-and-saying-what-the-heck-was-that, psychotic dreams that ended up like this?!
So sweet a kiss the golden sun gives not to those fresh morning drops upon the rose… as doth thy face through tears of mine give light.
*smack* [sound of blowing kiss]
to the girls…
not Brent…
Sweet dreams!
Just for the record, I actually have never met Yvonne, although I hear that she’s a hottie! Maybe another time, another place…
My darling Monica! My desire of your love; that, if then I had waked after a long sleep, will make me sleep again; and then, in dreaming, the clouds me thought would open and show riches ready to drop upon me; that, when I waked I cried to dream again.

Could you tell me what website address the Jerry Springer thing was on? I can’t seem to find it… Thank you.
According to Insitely Internet Solutions, the company that originally designed the website, the website is no longer online. It was originally designed for Johnny O’Neal, a country music artist in Nashville, Tennessee, who wrote a song about the Jerry Springer Show. - RDL
I designed the site for Johnny O’Neal a couple of years ago and the Jerry Springer “madlib” portion that is mentioned here was a fun little project. Maybe I should dig up the code and put it on another site just for fun.
