End of Our 2002 Vacation…
I am REALLY looking forward to getting home tomorrow. Perhaps it is that I am tired of dealing with screaming kids. Perhaps I’m tired of spending huge amounts of money with no apparent way of paying for it all. Perhaps I miss my normal routines.
I’m not sure exactly what it is; maybe it’s a bit of everything, plus more. I also feel a bit anxious to get started looking for another financial opportunity, whether it be full-time employment, consulting, or something else as yet undefined.
Sterling went with us on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride at Magic Kingdom, barely surpassing the 40-inch minimum height. Kim was worried that he wouldn’t enjoy it. At the end of the ride, he started screaming and throwing a fit — “I WANT TO GO AGAAAIN!” Looks like I’ll have a future partner on the Coaster Con someday!
But, I think it’ll be a couple of years before I’m ready mentally or financially for another vacation…
