An Evening of Finales…
A difficult effort, but I managed to stay off the Internet for most of Wednesday and Thursday, avoiding any news, previews, or spoilers of the Amazing Race or Survivor. Since our holiday party was on Wednesday evening, we taped AR and waited until the next day to see it. Wow! An evening of finales! No new news, but it’s disappointing that Flozac won — not because of Zach’s performance, but because of Flo’s unending whining. “I quit!” “I’ll never quit again!” “I quit” “I wanna go home!” “If you can’t get the tickets, just get us to JFK, ‘cuz I QUIT!” I like the idea of having the other contestants vote for the share that each of the winners receives. Wouldn’t work with married couples, but I’d prefer Zach to get the lion’s share of the prize. He not only had to carry himself around the world, but Flo, too!
Survivor? No big surprise. I would have liked Jan to win since she was so nice during the entire contest, but she didn’t stand a chance against the remaining back-stabbers. Clay had a tremendous chance to win the million, but threw it away with his final flippant retorts to some tough questions.
