New Year’s Eve 2002…
One hour to go, and the perfect time to review another bygone year:
Hired at Flextronics, started this blog, Brent and Monica got married, revitalized the web campaign at Flex, walked the Golden Gate Bridge, got my terrific PowerShot digital camera, managed to enjoy two seasons of both Survivor and Amazing Race and one season of the Mole, started the family website and blog, been visited by the local fire brigade, been let go by Flextronics, gone on vacation at Disney World in Florida, been harassed by a Playboy bunny, discovered my current favorite leisure activity of geocaching, participated in an online version of the Amazing Race, agonized through the first anniversary of September 11th, threw a great surprise birthday party for my wife, Kim discovered scrapbooking, and I’ve played far, far too many games of Empire Earth…
And I’m still amazed that people spend more time commenting and providing feedback on articles and thoughts that I almost think are stupid and a waste of time to create than they do on the ones I expect more criticism and sparks, such as the controversial looks at voting, the history of the Iraqi conflict, or the infamous Kingdom of EnenKio.
That’s entertainment!
