Preschool All Over Again

My son’s preschool schedule:

  • 6:30 - 8:00 Arrivals, greetings, health checks and directed free play
  • 8:00 - 8:30 Story, songs, games, etc.
  • 8:30 - 9:00 Morning snack, bathroom time
  • 9:00 - 10:30 Morning songs, calendar, job presentation
  • 10:30 - 11:00 Outdoor free play
  • 11:00 - 12:00 More story, songs, games, etc.
  • 12:00 - 12:15 Clean up and lunch preparation
  • 12:15 - 12:45 Lunch time
  • 12:45 - 1:00 Bathrooming, preparation for nap
  • 1:00 - 3:00 Nap time
  • 3:00 - 3:30 Waking up, bathrooming and snack
  • 3:30 - 4:30 More story, songs, games, etc.
  • 4:30 - 5:00 Directed outside play
  • 5:00 - 5:15 More story, songs, games, etc.
  • 5:15 - 5:45 Quiet time. Reading books, coloring, sharing the day’s events
  • 5:45 - 6:00 Returning things to proper places, cleaning

Sounds like the typical schedule of an out-of-work dotcommer. Fudge-striped cookies, anyone?
