At Least Sunblock Isn’t Necessary…

I took another one of those online “tests” today, similar to the one I took that gave me absolutely no additional information relating to my feminist viewpoints. This time, hëll was involved!

That’s right! I took the Dante’s Inferno Hëll Test, loosely based on Dante’s Divine Comedy.

Fortunately, I discovered that, because of my virtue and beliefs being in line with other virtuous nonbelievers, I have escaped eternal dámnátìøn and am destined to The First Level of Hëll — Limbo.

“Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief’s abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.”

Apparently, it’s rather close, as I scored quite highly in the Lustful and Heretics categories. I guess I need to stop thinking about sex all the time and start reading (and believing in) the Bible.

Uh…

I don’t think so…

Second Level (Lustful), with 6th (Heretics) a close second, and 7 thru 9 (Violent, Fraudulent, Treacherous) fighting for third.

So, almost three years later, I tried again — and this time I’ve been banished to the Second Level of Hëll. Lustful and Heretics are still “strong” categories, and I’m keeping Cleopatra and Helen of Troy company. Frolicking with those two sounds much better than my previous destiny of spending eternity with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle!
