You Know You’re Having a Bad Day…
I recently had my car broken into and my Palm Pilot, Canon PowerShot digital camera, and Sony-Ericsson T68i cell phone were stolen. The left rear passenger window was smashed in and entry was then gained by unlocking the doors. Since police departments no longer bother trying to solve such common crimes, they merely sent a postcard with a case number. Homeowner’s insurance, minus the $1000 deduction, covered $287 of the loss. *sigh*
Later, I tallied up my forgotten MS Office 2000 and MS Windows 98SE CDs and my Body Glove cell phone case to add to the claim.
