State of the Onion…
Recent events:
- A political candidate I worked for on a very part-time basis tied my proverbial hands up for two months and then reneged on our verbal contract. She now refuses to pay the $4500 she originally agreed to, stating that payment for past work will be dependent on whether or not she wants additional work performed. Unbelievable.
- My main file server died last week, costing me $519 in replacement parts and a week of downtime, plus another $125 for a new DVD writable drive and a box of blank DVDs.
- The Saturn L300 is going back in the body shop again, the victim of an inattentive lady turning a blind left directly into the path of our Saturn less than a half mile from home! Thankfully, no injuries. I tell ya though, our Saturn TOOK OUT that Cadillac! After driving my family back home in my car, I walked back to drive the L300 home. The Cadillac will probably never drive again!
So, what else can go wrong?!
1) Sounds like a trip to small claims court might be in the offing. I mean, it’s not like she’s ever posed nude, is it?
3) What??! And you didn’t call? I’ve got to find out by reading it online? (Done in best neglected mother voice, of course.)
