Ah! The Power of Ramblings…
My difficulties in getting an ex-client to pay for services rendered were alleviated in part due to my posting my grievances here on my blog. The ex-client, who is running for political office, was sent a link to my complaints about her most likely by a constituent or friend. Within days I had resolved the issues and reached an agreement with this politician. The check, assuming it is good, is in hand.
Of course, it probably helped that I had intelligently engineered my ramblings so that Google made my ramblings appear ABOVE her own website.
Hopefully she has learned a life lesson: if not that she should deal honestly and fairly with people in general, at least she should deal honestly and fairly with people who know how to better publicize her “attributes” on Google than she does!

I don’t know. This whole sending of links to Ramblings thing could be a tad dangerous. Certainly not the kind of thing *I’d* ever do. At least, not more than twice.
