Another One Bites The Dust…
An update!
Another client has seen the light and has decided to pay in accordance with the compromise I proposed. Woohoo!
That, and the shopping cart application is coming along well, albeit slowly. I’ve been doing some side research on the ‘net and I have seen many message boards clamoring for simple features and simple integration, yet no other packages are offering the simple solutions people are asking for. All are forcing customers into a complex inventory or catalog systems, or require database access, etc. It seems that gone are the days when someone could create a full shopping cart system using plain ol’ HTML on the frontend. I can’t wait to unveil my solution that allows equally simple and complex applications!
‘Twas a good day, indeed!
But there are FORTY TWO other products already in the marketplace that are doing the same thing. What makes you think adding a 43rd to the mix would impress anybody? Maybe because it didn’t make users learn about debits, credits and double entry bookkeeping. Maybe because it had a simple interface that people were used to: a picture of a check on the screen. Ah, the legacy of Quicken. #1 for 20 years. Good luck, Richard!
