AA Response to Admirals Club…
I forgot to mention what American Airlines’ remedy was in regards to the letter I wrote to them last January about the difficulties we had with the Admirals Club in San Jose. At this point I’m not even sure where the response letter is.
The gist of it was that the employee who made the considerable and appreciated effort to get permission for us travelers to access the Admirals Club (even though we are not members) should not have done so. Despite that, the fact that we were granted access by that employee should have carried over to the San Jose Admirals Club. Therein lay the problem.
To make it up to us, the airline provided $900 of travel vouchers and three passes to the Admirals Club that could be used anywhere, anytime within the next year.
