The Day & Night Furnace Company saga is over now that arbitration has been completed, an award won, and the settlement paid. The final chapter doesn’t seem very satisfying, though.

It looks like our HVAC contracting nightmare starring Apollo Johnsen and his Day and Night Furnace Company is finally coming to a close. What a relief!

After a lengthy hiatus, I have begun once again holding the feet of Apollo Johnsen (aka Apollo Johnson, Apollo Ray Johnsen, Apollo Ray Johnson, Dennis Johnsen, Dennis Johnson, Dennis Ray Johnsen, Dennis Ray Johnson, Ray Apollo Johnsen, and Dennisray Ray Johnsen) to the flame, this time by filing a complaint with the Contractors State License [...]

I have been a loyal, long-time customer of Citibank for many years, always feeling safe when purchasing goods in brick-and-mortar stores or shopping online because Citibank has always been in my corner in the fight against fraud.
Until now.
When Day and Night Furnace Company refused to refund $4,100 paid by Citibank credit card account number XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX [...]

Citibank contacted Day and Night Furnace regarding the dispute I have with them. Day and Night’s response was that “the work was completed and [I] am satisfied with the work.” Au contrare!

Not totally satisfied with my previous letter, and in possession of new information, I faxed the following to Day and Night Furnace Company at 9:38 p.m.:
I hereby cancel contract #2514 with Day and Night Furnace Company dated July 14, 2005. You are required by law to return within ten days the entire contract amount of [...]

I sent a letter via certified mail to Day & Night Furnace Co (Contractor License #747061; owner Apollo Ray Johnson, aka Dennis Ray Johnson) today after realizing that we’d been completely taken for a ride.
